Stress and burnout therapy in Tunbridge Wells

Support when work or life pressure has left you exhausted, irritable and running on empty.

Burnout tends to happen to people who care a lot and push hard for a long time. By the time it's obvious, the usual fixes, a weekend off or a holiday, no longer touch it.

Therapy looks at both sides: the demands on you, and the patterns such as perfectionism, difficulty saying no or putting everyone else first that make them harder to manage. We work on practical changes as well as the underlying beliefs that drive them, often drawing on CBT and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to reconnect with what matters to you outside work.

Sessions can be scheduled around work, and online sessions are available if travel is a barrier.

Frequently asked questions

Is burnout a mental health condition?

Burnout isn't a medical diagnosis in itself, but it often overlaps with anxiety and depression and is a very good reason to seek support.

Can my employer pay for sessions?

Some employers and health insurers cover private psychology. Ask your HR team or insurer, and get in touch if you need an invoice or a letter.
